Job summary

CVS Health offers a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world pharmacy practice in CVS stores. Under a pharmacist preceptor, you’ll complete a structured training roadmap, support daily pharmacy operations, and gain exposure to immunizations, patient counseling, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient interactions
• Counsel patients, answer simple medical questions, and support immunization efforts where allowed
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify orders when needed
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment
