Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacy setting. You’ll apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing and excellent patient service.

The role emphasizes SOPs, patient care, and growth toward a Pharmacist role. You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, immunizations, and collaboration with the pharmacy team while developing clinical and technical

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in medication fulfillment
• Assist in immunizations and patient counseling under supervision
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records and assist with inventory tasks
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and prescriber communications as allowed by state law
• Support training roadmap and growth opportunities within the pharmacy team
• Demonstrate empathy and patient‑centered care in all interactions
