Job summary

CVS Health Corporation’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy, applying classroom learning to real-world patient care while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will gain exposure to SOPs, immunizations, and patient counseling across store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn patient-first care, teamwork, and the workflow needed to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and a compassionate, inclusive service culture.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs across pharmacy operations.
• Follow SOPs and assist in safe prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and support immunizations where allowed.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, and medication deliveries.
• Learn to communicate effectively with patients and team.
