Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on training in a retail pharmacy environment. You will work under a pharmacist and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting patient care and safe medication handling.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, teamwork, and ongoing professional development, with immunization support and real-world practice to prepare for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians with patient health.
• Maintain safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow steps.
• Provide empathetic patient service and support immunizations and other services when allowed by law.
