Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail stores. You will apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role and gain hands-on experience in store operations and patient care.

You will learn to follow SOPs, support immunizations and clinical services where allowed, and contribute to a safe, inclusive patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Required: Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist pharmacists and technicians in daily operations across the pharmacy team
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunization and patient care initiatives
• Support immunization training and other patient health services where allowed by state regulations
• Collaborate with store leadership to maintain compliant, safe, and welcoming pharmacy operations
• Travel to other stores in the market as needed by the business
