Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world store practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, supporting accuracy and safety in prescription processing while delivering caring service.

You will gain hands-on experience across pharmacy operations, immunizations, and patient counseling, with opportunities to grow toward a pharmacist role within CVS Health's retail network.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy required for enrollment/participation.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians with patient care.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
• Provide empathetic patient service, counseling, and information on medications.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services when appropriate.
• Coordinate with the pharmacy team to maintain operations and patient safety.
• Travel to stores across the market as needed by the business.
