Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice in a CVS Retail setting. Under a preceptor, you will follow a training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and learn SOPs while supporting the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions safely and accurately.

You will assist with patient interactions, immunizations when allowed, and participate in ongoing training to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• You're accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment including production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, and drop‑off.
• Provide empathetic customer service and counsel when appropriate.
• Support immunizations and other services under supervision as allowed by state law.
