Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in CVS stores. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist, following a structured training roadmap to prepare for a pharmacist role.

You will gain hands-on experience in store operations, pharmacy workflow, and patient interactions, while learning SOPs, safety standards, and cross-functional teamwork across districts and regions.

Qualifications

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation.
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs).
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Counsel patients when appropriate, taking information on medical history for optimal care.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist pharmacy leadership with team collaboration.
