Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program at our retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap that shows you what it’s like to be part of a pharmacy team and to gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, prompt, and accurate dispensing and deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations, while

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and enrollment status.
• Current intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pickup, drive-thru and over the phone.
• Adhere to SOPs and store policies to maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Contribute to inventory activities and cycle counts as directed.
• Support immunizations and vaccination workflows where permitted by state law.
• Remain flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market when needed.
