Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams at CVS locations. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap under a preceptor, learn store operations, and develop the skills needed for a Pharmacist role, while delivering caring service that meets patient needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by state law.
• Complete training roadmap and gain hands-on experience.
• Maintain attendance, learn SOPs, and adhere to privacy and safety standards.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed.
