Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team in retail locations, applying classroom learning to real-world practice. You will learn under a preceptor, follow SOPs, and gain hands-on experience in patient care, immunizations, and working across store operations.

You will assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate prescriptions, safe dispensing, and excellent patient service while developing professional competencies for a future pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations, patient counseling, and basic pharmacy tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs, participate in training roadmaps, and demonstrate empathy in patient interactions.

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
