Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, contributing to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient care.

You will learn store, district, and regional operations while gaining hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, including SOP adherence, counseling, and immunization support where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber and clarify if needed
• Assist with inventory activities and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
