Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn store, district, and regional operations, and contribute to safe, responsive patient care while embracing CVS policies and procedures.

You will support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law, maintain accurate records, and travel to market stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and progressively take on more responsibility in pharmacy operations.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations to ensure patient safety and quality service.
