Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in stores, applying classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You’ll assist with medication dispensing, customer service, and safety procedures while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn to work as part of a pharmacy team, maintain SOPs, and deliver caring service that meets patient needs under licensed supervision.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and provide empathetic service.
