Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor, following a structured roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations and to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will gain hands-on experience, handling routine tasks, immunizations support, and patient communications while maintaining high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs across pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate customer service and empathetic patient interactions.
• Learn under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and follow SOPs.
• Occasionally travel to stores in the market as needed.
