Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will apply didactic learnings to real-world practice and follow a comprehensive training roadmap across store operations, SOPs, and patient care.

You will assist with prescription processing, patient counseling, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college enrollment or on-track to enroll.
• Active or in-process intern/technician licensure as required by state.
• Proven customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling under supervision.
• Support immunization and point-of-care services where allowed by state law.
• Maintain SOP compliance and participate in inventory activities.
