Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within a store pharmacy team. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, completing KLEs and activities while supporting patient care and safe medication handling.

You will learn SOPs, assist in prescription fulfillment, and participate in immunization services under supervision, contributing to a compassionate and efficient pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment.
• Current intern/technician licensure per state requirements.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Counsel patients and obtain medical history when appropriate.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and coordinate with prescribers as allowed by state law.
• Support immunizations and offsite clinics as required.
