Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy operations, under the guidance of a preceptor. You will participate in a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience in a CVS pharmacy, and support safe, efficient, patient-centered care across the store team.

The role emphasizes empathy, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing development toward pharmacist responsibilities, with opportunities to assist with immunizations and clinical services

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs at every workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services as allowed by law and policy.
• Provide patient counseling and gather medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Support inventory activities, cycle counts, and deliveries as directed by leadership.
