Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, timely prescription fulfillment while learning store operations.

You will learn to follow SOPs, communicate effectively with patients and teammates, and contribute to a caring, inclusive patient experience.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy required or currently enrolled.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Maintain accuracy in prescription labeling and patient safety.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support pharmacy team.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted.
• Flexibility to travel to stores within the market as needed.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment

Valid intern/technician licensure in process
