Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist preceptor and complete a comprehensive training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while learning SOPs and contributing to empathetic patient care, including immunizations where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular training and complete the comprehensive training roadmap.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients.
• Assist with immunizations and related patient care as allowed by state regulations.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety.
