Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice in our retail pharmacies. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate patient care and engaging in SOP-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred immunization certification and ability to work across the market as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and support pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with patient interactions, counseling, and empathetic service at pickup, drive-thru, or by phone.
• Support immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory and assist with routine pharmacy operations and records.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability to meet scheduling and business needs.
