Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to gain hands-on experience within our pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic knowledge in real-world practice, work under a preceptor, and complete a structured training roadmap designed to prepare you for a Pharmacist role.

You will help ensure safe, timely prescription fulfillment, deliver compassionate patient care, and participate in SOP‑driven operations while developing clinical and technical skills across the store’s pharmacy and district

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Pursuing valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and maintain accurate records as directed.
