Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail stores, aimed at applying classroom learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist preceptor. You'll follow a comprehensive training roadmap and gain hands-on experience across pharmacy operations.

You will assist with prescriptions, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and support store and district teams, while upholding SOPs, safety, accuracy, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate empathy in patient interactions.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state regulation.
