Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams across stores, gaining hands-on experience while preparing for a Pharmacist role. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, assist with safe prescription fulfillment, and learn store, district, and regional operations under a licensed pharmacist.

The role emphasizes patient empathy, adherence to SOPs, and opportunities to participate in immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation and support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed.
• Engage with patients with empathy, provide counseling when appropriate under supervision.
• Complete training roadmap and KLEs to build clinical and operational knowledge.
• Support inventory activities and coordination with store leadership.
