Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice within a CVS Retail pharmacy. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and contribute to safe medication dispensing while learning SOPs and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern/technician licensure or in-process clearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across stations.
• Provide empathetic patient service and immunization support where allowed.
• Counsel patients and collect applicable medical history under supervision.
• Process telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed.
• Assist with basic inventory and cycle counts per leadership direction.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and patient privacy.
