Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team in a CVS Retail location. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs and contributing to patient safety and service excellence.

You will participate in a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience in immunizations, medication preparation, and patient counseling, and travel to stores as needed to support the market.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly, ensure prescription label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and be friendly.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues effectively.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days supply and quantities for prescriptions.
• Be mobile and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state regulations.

Valid intern and/or technician licensure
