Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations in our Retail locations. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, participate in KLEs, and support pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience in filling prescriptions, immunizations, counseling, and collaboration with store leadership, while learning about district and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient care.
• Perform safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunization services where allowed.
• Counsel patients, answer medical questions, and escalate issues under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain inventory tasks and assist the leadership team to support store operations.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
