Lincare is seeking staff to handle inbound and outbound customer calls, assess product needs, and enter orders in the computerized system. The role includes updating patient demographics and documenting interactions for accurate records.

The ideal candidate will read pharmacy orders, understand prescription terminology, communicate with patients and coworkers, and assist in training staff while meeting licensing requirements as applicable to the location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, 0–3 months related experience
• Computer entry required for patient records
• Must meet any location licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound calls
• Assess needs for additional products/services
• Enter customer orders into computerized system
• Document calls in patient records
• Verify and update demographic information
• Read and analyze patient orders
• Explain pharmacy terminology to patients
• Support training of employees
• Handle dosing and frequency calculations per orders
