Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist patients by answering questions, resolving problems, confirming ongoing product or service needs, and supporting physician-directed orders.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, enter orders, verify demographics, read patient orders, and document interactions in our computerized system while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training may be acceptable
• Computer entry required
• Licensing requirements may be necessary for the specific location

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via inbound and outbound calls; update records in the system
• Assess customer need for additional products or services
• Assess customer compliance with physician orders
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products/services
• Document calls in computerized record keeping system
• Enter customer orders in computerized system
• Verify and update demographic information in records
• Read and analyze patient orders
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and patients
• Assist with training of employees
• Calculate figures and amounts for frequency and doses dispensed
• Follow oral and written instructions
