Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure satisfaction.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends items and assists in locating products.
- Processes transactions, handles returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintains store cleanliness and merchandise displays.
- Supports pharmacy activities such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors immediately, complies with pharmacy policies, and maintains legal and safety standards.
- Handles non-urgent calls, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory management.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products, maintains store displays, and supports stock rotation and product placement.
- Provides photo services, manages web order pickups, and maintains store appearance.
- Follows company policies, maintains respectful relationships, and completes assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes ongoing training and education.
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English (except Puerto Rico), willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
