Job Title: Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Walgreens

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales at the cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practices, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items, handle transactions, and assist in locating products.
• Maintain store cleanliness, manage inventory, and perform pharmacy-related tasks such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, and supporting pharmacy workflow.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, handle calls, process claims, and support inventory management.
• Assist in store displays, stock rotation, and provide photo services and web order fulfillment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintain PTCB certification and participate in training and continuing education.
• Fluency in English required; flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
