Customer Service and Pharmacy Support Associate

This role involves providing a distinctive and delightful customer experience, assisting pharmacists under supervision, and supporting pharmacy operations.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend products and assist with locating items.
• Handle cash register transactions, process returns and refunds, and assist customers in the OTC aisle.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and counters, take inventory, and assist with pricing.
• Support pharmacy duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors promptly and adhere to pharmacy policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Handle phone calls, process third-party claims, and perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, assist with product placement, and stock rotation.
• Operate store systems and equipment, provide photo services, and manage web order pick-ups.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, and foster respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintain PTCB certification or relevant state certification.
• Attend training, complete continuing education, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
