Job summary
Sentara Health is seeking a strategic Manager of Pharmacy Analytics & Reporting to lead a team in developing and maintaining reporting, tracking pharmacy trends, and supporting PBM oversight. This remote, full-time role emphasizes servant leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration with IT, Finance and Compliance.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in healthcare analytics, strong SQL skills, and expertise in PowerBI/Tableau, with PMP certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years of healthcare experience required.
- 4+ years of managed care pharmacy or PBM analytics experience including pharmacy claims, medical drugs, and enrollment.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries.
- Excel proficiency with data visualizations; PowerBI and Tableau experience preferred.
- DataBricks experience preferred.
- Project management experience required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pharmacy trends and develop/maintain reporting.
- Support PBM oversight including financial guarantees, contractual terms, and invoicing.
- Lead and coach analytical resources; mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy, IT, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Compliance and Government Performance teams.
