Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Patient Services Liaison to serve as the primary contact for ambulatory pharmacy access and affordability services across clinics in California. The role involves coordinating with office staff, physicians, and payers to ensure timely access to medication therapy and seamless patient support.

Responsibilities include handling prior authorizations, verifying benefits, and educating providers on the value of prescription fulfillment within the client health system pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician experience 1–3 years is required.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure/certification in the respective state is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients navigating high-cost therapies and affordability barriers.
• Process prior authorizations and identify patient assistance programs.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, staff, pharmacy and payers.
• Educate providers and staff on prescription fulfillment value within the health system.
• Contribute to KPI tracking and program performance improvement.
• Work in clinic settings and remote locations as needed.
