Job summary

Cencora seeks a Patient Services Liaison to be the primary contact for ambulatory pharmacy access and affordability services. You will work with clinic staff and physicians to refer patients to the appropriate pharmacy and support benefits verification, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs.

You’ll coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely access to medications, educate providers and staff on prescription fulfillment value, and participate in KPI reporting to drive program

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician experience 1-3 years.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure / certification in the corresponding state.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients requiring high-cost prescription therapies and infusion therapies, focusing on access and affordability.
• Process prior authorizations and identify patient assistance; route prescriptions to the appropriate pharmacy.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, staff, pharmacy and payers.
