Job summary

Cencora seeks a Patient Services Liaison to be the primary contact for ambulatory pharmacy access and affordability services. You will work with clinic staff, providers and payers to ensure timely access to medication therapy and coordinate prior authorizations and patient assistance.

You will support multiple clinics, may work in-person at sites in Hanford, Reedley and Bakersfield, and may operate from an approved remote location as needed.

Qualifications

  • Retail pharmacy tech experience (1–3 years) required or preferred.
  • Active state licensure/certification required.
  • Experience with prior authorizations and copay assistance a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide liaison services for patients requiring high-cost prescription therapies and infusion therapies, handling prior authorizations and patient routing to the proper pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to improve processes to enhance patient access and prescription utilization.
  • Serve as primary contact for high-cost prescription access, ensuring clear communication and documentation in health records and dispensing systems.
  • Educate providers, clinic staff and patients on prescription fulfillment value and ensure timely task execution.
  • Coordinate delivery of prescriptions to patients and contribute to KPI reporting for program performance.
