Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician experience 1–3 years.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure/certification in the corresponding state.
• Experience with prior authorizations and copay assistance programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients requiring high-cost retail prescription therapies and infusion therapies, focusing on navigation of access barriers and processing prior authorizations.
• Interfacing with office staff, providers and leadership to identify process improvements to drive patient access and prescription internalization.
• Serve as primary contact for high-cost prescription access and affordability for assigned clinics, with clear stakeholder communication and documentation in EHRs and dispensing systems.
• Educate providers, clinic staff and patients on the value of prescription fulfillment and deliver world-class customer service.
• Coordinate delivery of prescriptions to patients with internal pharmacy; contribute to KPI reporting and program performance assessment.
• Participate in client and clinic meetings, contributing content and leading discussions on prescription access.
• Support clinics during operating hours and extend hours as needed to ensure patients receive medications and meet business plan objectives.
• Work in clinic and remotely as required by client, providing high-level support from both settings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
