Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Pharmacist to support the medication electronic health record and lead informatics initiatives. The role serves as the clear bridge between clinicians and technology, translating clinical needs into system builds.

Requirements include Epic Willow certification, 3 years as a pharmacist (or PGY1/PGY2 in informatics), state licensure, and the ability to work remotely from eligible states with first-shift hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the United States or eligible for reciprocity.
• Epic Willow certification is required.
• 3 years of pharmacist experience or PGY1/PGY2 residency in pharmacy informatics.

Responsibilities

• Leverage clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR as a liaison to clinical informatics.
• Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and workflows to improve medication safety.
• Design and implement EHR builds to support clinical practice and safety.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems.
• Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Create data analytics for performance improvement.
• Develop automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Coordinate with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
