Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informatics professional to support the medication EHR and clinical workflows. You will work with clinicians and IT to design, implement, and optimize EHR builds that improve safety and efficiency.

Requires Epic Willow certification, 3 years of pharmacist experience, and PGY1/PGY2 residencies preferred. This is a fully remote role across nationwide states with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Exceptional candidates will demonstrate strong clinical judgment combined with systems thinking.
• Ep ic Willow certification and experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems or infusion pumps.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions and operational needs into clear system build requirements.
• Ability to facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making.
• Proactive identification and communication of risks.
• Ability to work independently while appropriately seeking peer review and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR and serve as a liaison for clinical informatics.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance practice and optimize medication workflows.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and safety.
• Consults with providers and leaders to align information systems with clinical workflows and informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assists in creating data analytics for performance review and improvement.
• Develops and implements automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Engages external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
