Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informaticist for a fully remote position. The role focuses on advancing electronic health record workflows, supporting clinical informatics, and enhancing medication safety across systems.

Qualified candidates will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Epic Willow certification, with experience in medication records, formulary management, and informatics project delivery. State-licensed practice is required or eligible for reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
• Epic Willow certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, and automated dispensing systems.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions into system build requirements and communicate risks clearly.
• Proactive in cross-functional decision-making and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverage pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record.
• Serve as a liaison for clinical informatics with clinicians and IT teams.
• Develop informatics plans, perform data analyses, and improve medication safety.
• Design and implement new EHR builds to support clinical practice and patient safety.
• Consult with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems.
• Create data analytics to facilitate performance reviews and improvements.
• Develop automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and other regulations.
