Job summary

AbbVie in Worcester, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor I to lead daily production operations, uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive cost-competitive performance. You will guide a team on the floor, coordinate shift activities, ensure training, and develop direct reports while maintaining strong documentation and adherence to cGMPs.

Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in sciences or engineering is strongly preferred.
Two years of manufacturing or related experience required. Supervisor experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; working knowledge of safety, quality systems and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

Safety: foster a zero-incident culture and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
People: deploy and develop team, conduct 1:1s, performance reviews and timekeeping.
Operational: coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and ensure smooth handovers.
Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance and perform line clearance and material checks.
Performance: manage cycle times and changeover times with a focus on improvements.
Development: provide training and growth opportunities for direct reports.
