Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor I to lead a pharmaceutical packaging team on site in Cincinnati. You will ensure safe operations, quality, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production targets while controlling costs and fostering a high-performance culture.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with SAP and cGMPs. Supervisory experience is preferred and strong collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience working with SAP and other manufacturing systems; strong writing skills for regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safety: maintain a culture of zero incidents and enforce EHS requirements.
• People: deploy and develop team, conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and attendance management.
• Operational: coordinate shift activities to meet production schedule and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Compliance: ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; perform line clearance and spot checks.
• Performance: manage cycle time and changeovers, identify improvements.
• Development: provide training and growth opportunities for direct reports.
