Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking a Manager of Parent, Family and Community Engagement to lead PFCE across Head Start and Early Head Start programs. This role oversees ERSEA data, enrollment, attendance, and family services systems, collaborating with FSCs, Center Directors and the Education & Inclusion team to sustain full enrollment.

The position drives staff development, volunteer coordination, and community partnerships, while ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with Head Start

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development, social work, adult learning or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive travel (40% in-state).
• Proven experience in managing family services for young children and their families, including supervisory experience.
• MS Office proficiency and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete and accurate collection, entry, reporting and maintenance of data related to family development services.
• Direct supervision of Family Service Coordinators (FSCs) where applicable; provide technical support where needed.
• Ensure staff credentials are appropriate for family services roles.
• Maintain ERSEA records and CACFP data for program operations.
• Collaborate with or supervise vacancies, enrollment targets and funded enrollment.
• Track attendance and follow up on tardiness and absenteeism.
• Visit classrooms regularly to support staff, train and coach on parent engagement.
• Develop and monitor Family Partnership Agreements and family services activities.
• Design and maintain a Volunteer Program and training materials.
