Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Manager of Parent, Family and Community Engagement (PFCE) to lead ERSEA operations, family engagement, and community partnerships across Head Start programs. You will oversee data systems, enrollment, attendance, and collaboration with Family Service Coordinators and program leaders.

The role focuses on strengthening family support services, developing a volunteer program, and ensuring staff are credentialed while maintaining compliance with Head Start Performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood development, social work, adult learning or a related family/human services field.
• Extensive travel (40% in-state).
• Proven experience in family services for young children and their families, including supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete and accurate collection, entry, reporting and maintenance of data related to family development services.
• Direct supervision of Family Service Coordinators (FSCs) when in a supervisory role.
• Provide technical support to FSCs and their supervisors as needed.
• Ensure staff hired have the required credentials for family services.
• Maintain ERSEA records including CACFP; report and track enrollment targets.
• Coordinate with the Manager of Education & Inclusion to meet vacancies and funded enrollment goals.
• Track attendance and provide training and support to promote parent engagement.
• Visit classrooms to observe and coach staff in engaging families in education.
• Develop and monitor volunteer program and partnerships with community services.
