Job summary

Save the Children US seeks a Manager of Parent, Family & Community Engagement (PFCE) to lead ERSEA, enrollment and family engagement across Head Start/Early Head Start programs. You will oversee Family Service Coordinators, collaborate with center directors, and build partnerships with community organizations to ensure full enrollment and strong family outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood development, social work, adult learning, or a related family/human services field; plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive travel (40% in-state).
• Proven experience in managing family services programs for young children and families; supervisory experience.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate data on family development services and ERSEA records.
• Direct supervision of Family Service Coordinators if in a supervisory role; provide technical guidance otherwise.
• Ensure staff credentials and proper enrollment processes.
• Track attendance data and monitor timely follow-ups with families.
• Visit classrooms regularly to support staff and promote parent engagement.
• Support Home-Based program visits and training for staff and parents.
• Develop and monitor volunteer and Family Partnership Agreements; report monthly metrics.
