Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to manage patient flow and support the veterinary team, ensuring friendly, efficient service for clients and their pets. The CSC will handle reception, records, billing, and scheduling with a focus on client education and wellness care.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hospital environment. Weekend/evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Medical background with terminology training is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds and perform computer-based work.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing clients to ensure care and productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by an efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history in the computer.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
