Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Hermiston, OR seeks a Store Associate who supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales, merchandising, and guest-service goals while promoting a safe, welcoming environment for customers, Team Members, and pets.

You will execute basic merchandising, assist with opening/closing procedures, handle cash, and help care for live animals, ensuring compliance with policies while delivering outstanding service daily.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or live animal knowledge preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading/writing/counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and flexible to varied hours.
• Support selling initiatives and engage customers.
• Execute merchandising, price changes and plan-o-grams.
• Open/close procedures and cash handling tasks.
• Ensure safety and care for live animals in holding areas.
