Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Retail or pet knowledge is a plus.
• Experience not required but preferred in customer service or sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and provide product recommendations.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing changes, and plan-o-grams.
• Care for live animals and maintain holding tanks and habitats.
• Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks to keep store tidy.
• Complete documentation for duties as assigned.
• Support selling initiatives and deliver excellent customer service.
