Petco in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a high-energy Key Holder to help ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service for a busy Pet Care Center.

You will supervise partners, open/close the store, and serve as a point of contact when management is not present, delivering a great experience for pets, customers, and teammates every day.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise partners, and act as the point of contact when management is not present.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and resolve customer questions on the floor.
• Execute merchandising standards, price accuracy, and planograms to support store goals.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking; identify stock issues and communicate them to leadership.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to Petco standards on a daily basis.
