Job summary

Island PawPlex in Charleston welcomes a warm, friendly Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. You will greet guests, provide information about boarding, grooming, and daycare, and help ensure every pet has a fantastic stay.

You will schedule appointments, check pets in and out, coordinate with grooming and kennel staff, and keep the front desk tidy and welcoming. A strong communicator and team player who loves animals will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication on phone, email, and in person.
• Professional and friendly demeanor in all client interactions.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets at the front desk.
• Answer phone calls and emails with a positive, informative attitude about services.
• Schedule appointments and manage reservations.
• Assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring pets are comfortable.
• Coordinate with grooming and kennel staff for pet needs.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Present a welcoming appearance to clients and pets.
